In Merge Rise, you take control of five vertical columns, each stacked with numbered blocks. Your goal is to merge identical numbers by dragging one block onto another of the same value. When two blocks merge, they rise into a single block of the next value—two '2's become a '4', two '4's become an '8', and so on. This simple act of merging and rising is the core loop that gives Merge Rise its name and its addictive challenge. But the columns are not just flat surfaces. Blocks are stacked on top of each other, and the block you need may be buried beneath others. You can rearrange blocks within a column to bring the right number to the top, clear space, or set up future merges. Every successful merge fills a progress bar on the side of the screen. When the bar is full, any column you have completely cleared down to its base will regenerate, rising back to full height with a fresh set of blocks.
